Steven Trevillion works in a range of media but now paints most of his portraits either in oil on canvas or in watercolour/gouache on paper. 
To avoid the need for lengthy sessions in the studio and all the difficulties associated with sitting still for long periods of time Steve makes use of photos. This   also enables him to capture moments of spontaneity which can be reflected in the finished portrait.
